My Study on: What God says about WHATEVER you do and Laziness

Overview:
Being lazy is going against God.  It’s that simple.  What is being lazy, slothful, and idle to God?  Not working hard, with all your abilities for you, your family, and God.  We all want or need something, the difference is those who work hard to get them and those who are lazy and come up with lame excuses why they can’t.  But not only is being lazy bad for you but also for people around you that you are not able to help on behalf of God.  IN ALL THINGS we can be lazy.  So, whatever we do, don’t be lazy and make God proud.  In the end, the efforts of your work reflect where your heart is if you want to test your faith.  But God already knows.  Do you?

Being Lazy:
1You may “want” to do something but “wants” don’t do anything for you unless you ACT.    7We all “want” to get things done but not actually ACTING on our “want” will do nothing for us.  11Giving yourself excuses NOT do work hard is only wise in your “sleeping” mind but are NOT valid excuses to God and to those who DO work hard.

What laziness does:
4Being lazy and doing things halfway fails and doesn’t get you very far but working hard and being persistent will bring you what you want and need.  2You have to EARN what you get.  Freeloading is not respectable.  5Not being able to be responsible for yourself and family is the same as not being responsible TO GOD. 6Procastiation does not benefit the future and help in progress but leads to failure.  8Being lazy grows in us and takes over and cause only bad things.  17Being lazy, idle, and procrastinating isn’t just a bad thing for you, but a bad thing for people around you.

Not an option:
14BE DOERS.  This is a verb, an action, and is not passive or idle.

Work for yourself:
9”Do your BEST”; work hard, and get what you need with all your ability so that you become an example before God.  12”EARN” your living.  Work hard “quietly” FOR GOD and do not be idle.  13Whatever you do, work hard at it “with all your might”.

Work for God:
3Work hard WHATEVER it is, and do it for GOD, not just yourself nor for anyone else.  16WHATEVER you do, do it for God AND THANK HIM for the work and its benefits.  19Trust God in and through your works, acknowledge his hand in everything you do,  and he will make your works be beneficial.

Benefits of your work:
10”DO NOT NEGLECT” to do ‘good’ and hard work is good, so that you can help others and not just yourself and please God.  15Work more than you sleep.  Take pride in work and not being idle.  Whatever you love, sleep or work, you will reap what you sow.  18Earn what you have so that IF God calls, you can help those in need.  BUT GOD loves “a cheerful giver”, not a forced unhappy giver.  20Your heart and genuine faith can be seen through your works.  To test yourself, look at your works to measure your true faith.
